The Outreach and Admissions Counselor plans and implements a local outreach program to ensure a sufficient number of referrals for Job Corps participation.
Minimum: Bachelor’s degree or four years experience working with youth. One year experience in sales, marketing or counseling related field. Model company Core Values.
Preferred: Minimum requirements plus experience working with disadvantaged youth highly desirable.
General Information: In order to perform the essential job functions of this position, candidate must have regular attendance, good communication skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Knowledge of Job Corps or similar training program. Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. Excellent presentation skills. Must possess a valid State driver’s license. Ability to effectively relate to students. Excellent organizational skills.
