    Responsibilities

    The On Call Food Service Aide is responsible for maintaining good housekeeping in the kitchen and dining areas.  In addition, assists in the serving and preparation of food.

     

    • Ensures equipment and assigned work areas are clean and maintained in accordance with state and local codes, Career System Development, and Department of Labor standards.
    • Assists in the preparation of food.
    • Assists in serving food.
    • Cleans and maintains dining room and kitchen facilities.
    • Operates dish-washing equipment.
    • Cleans and checks service equipment.

    Qualifications

    Minimum:  High School Diploma or GED, or High School Equivalency Diploma. 


    Preferred:  Certificate of completion form a culinary arts or food service training program.Three months experience in a food service area preferred.

     

    Knowledge Required:  Individual should have well-defined habits of personal cleanliness and hygiene. Must meet State or local food handling requirements, whichever are more restrictive. Must obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certificates.

     

    All post offer candidates must complete and pass a background check and drug screen.
